Howdy y'all! Here's a little about me...

 

I am a working mom with a new passion for cookie making. My grandmother taught me all she knew about baking, and I've always loved it. When my son was little he did not care for cakes at all, so I went in a search of a treat he could enjoy... cookies were a big hit. I took a class to learn how to decorate them, and I was hooked. I have a BFA degree in Illustration from Ringling School of Art and Design, and although I've been painting since the age of 9, icing is a fun, new medium that provides a constant learning adventure from my own kitchen :)

 

I am best known for my stylized, fun, and nerdy cookies and have had the pleasure of doing themes ranging from armadillos to zombies. My cookies have been featured on websites such as BBC, Geekology and ThinkGeek. I joke that this is my night job because almost everything I do is done at night after everyone is asleep.
